# 41 Flowers With Wings...fly to magical forests. What message do they bring?

Flores que vuelan hacia bosques con alas, naturaleza que es patrimonio de la humanidad. Llegan con el otoño, vestidas de naranja y negro.

Pesan menos de un gramo y aún así emprenden un viaje de casi 5,000 kilómetros hacia el sur, en un peregrinar sin mapa a una tierra que jamás han visitado.

Las mariposas monarca son un misterio vivo entre los bosques de pino y oyamel que las reciben en los estados de Michoacán y México.

¿Qué mensaje llevan estas viajeras? En el México prehispánico se pensaba que eran almas que regresaban a visitar su tierra.

Tal vez nos quieren decir que cada final es en realidad un principio, que el cambio puede ser bello, que el dolor puede transformarse en color, que migrar, explorar, volar nos hace fuertes, que el alma sabe lo que la mente ignora y que no hay turbina más poderosa que el corazón.

Sí, quizás en realidad existe un alma entre esas alas.

Some flowers can fly, they travel to magical forests, where pine trees have wings. They do so in the shape of a butterfly, to an enchanted land which is a world heritage site.

They arrive with the fall, dressed in black and orange.

Weighing less than one gram they are strong enough to journey for thousands of miles, traveling south, like pilgrims without a map, to a place they have never been to before.

Monarchs we call them, butterflies which are a living mystery amongst the pines and oyamel trees in the states of Michoacan and Mexico.

What message do they bring? In ancient Mexico they were believed to be the souls of the departed, coming back to their homeland.

Perhaps they want to remind us that for each ending there is a new beginning, that change can be beautiful, that pain can be turned into color, that traveling, exploring and flying makes us stronger, that the soul knows things the mind ignores and that there is no more powerful engine than the heart.

Yes, perhaps there truly is a soul between those wings.
